SpotifyApi

Spotify Web API Wrapper with Retrofit and OkClients just for Android.
This library includes authentication and account token management feature.

Set up

Prepare SpotifyApi instance on your Application.

public class App extends Application {

@Override
public void onCreate() {

  super.onCreate();

  SpotifyApi.initialize(this, new ClientConfig.Builder()

.setClientId("clientId")

.setClientSecret("clientSecret")

.setRedirectUri("redirectUri")

.build());

}

}

SpotifyApi has a responsibility to handle api calls and callback handler for user auth.

Start user authentication

You can authenticate user with this.

public class AuthActivity extends Activity {

public void onAuthButtonClick(View view) {

  SpotifyApi.getInstance().authorize(this, new String[] {
"playlist-read-private", "streaming", "user-library-read"
}
, false);

}

}

You should prepare the activity that receives redirect uri callback. The callback redirect handling code is below.

public class AuthActivity extends Activity {

@Override
public void onNewIntent(Intent intent) {

  super.onNewIntent(intent);

  SpotifyApi.getInstance().onCallback(intent.getData(), this);

}

}

Use with Loaders

The library provides abstraction of AsyncTaskLoader so you can easily integrate with generic Android framework.

public class MyselfLoader extends SpotifyLoader<User> {

public MyselfLoader(Context context, SpotifyApi api) {

  super(context, api);

}

 @Override
public User call(SpotifyService service) throws Exception {

  return service.getMe();

}

}

SpotifyLoader will automatically refresh the token if it is expired.

Retrofit callbacks

This library is based on Retrofit so you can use its callback framework.

public class MyActivity extends Activity {

public void onStartLoadClick(View view) {

  SpotifyApi.getInstance().getSpotifyApi().getMe(new Callback<User>() {

 @Override

 public void success(User user, Response response) {

}

  @Override

 public void failure(RetrofitError error) {

}

}
);

}

}

Callback will be executed on the main thread.

SOAP has been losing ground to REST services in mobile the last years, thus losing attention. But SOAP isn't gone and many still use it. The thing is that it usually requires a lot of work from the dev to create and parse all the messages.

JSoap is an Android library which allows automatic handling of SOAP requests and resposes, making the process effortless to the user. It works on top of the well-known library KSOAP2.

DynamicCalendar library generates a custom calendar icon based on the date you provide. You can also change the background template of the generated date icon.

You can specify the font's typeface, size, position, color and the empty calendar icon.

Python script that checks for missing string translations in your project's localized languages.

Collapsing Toolbar Title.

InfiniteViewPager is an augment Android's ViewPager with wrap-around functionality.

Problem:

With a normal ViewPager, you can only scroll from the first page to second page (and so forth), from left-to-right. Once you reach the last page, your only option is to scroll backwards, right-to-left. In other words, 'wrap-around scrolling' (going from first-to-last, and last-to-first) is not possible.

Use a jar executable to create a Drawable class to display a SVG on Android.

This is a standalone library, not a Runtime Android library. You need to use it BEFORE your Android compilation (and only once per SVG file).
