Evernote Android-Intent

This tiny library lets you easily send Android Intents to the main Evernote app.

Download

Add the library as a dependency in your build.gradle file.

dependencies {

  compile 'com.evernote:android-intent:1.0.3'
}

Usage

EvernoteIntent serves as entry point and provides all possible Intent builders, e.g. you can create a new note, view an existing note or make a new snapshot.

Some returned builders provide additional parameters.

private void sharePlainTextNote() {

  Intent intent = EvernoteIntent.createNewNote()

 .setTitle("Intent Demo Title")

 .addTags("Intent Demo Tag")

 .setTextPlain("This note is created by the Evernote intent demo application. https://github.com/evernote/android-intent")

 .setSourceApp(getPackageName())

 .setAppVisibility(CreateNewNoteIntentBuilder.AppVisibility.QUICK_SEND)

 .create();

startActivity(intent);

}

For some Intents the Evernote app returns a result, e.g. if you pick note. In this case you can use EvernoteIntentResult to parse the data.

@Override protected void onActivityResult(int requestCode, int resultCode, Intent data) {

  switch (requestCode) {

case REQ_PICK_NOTE:

 if (resultCode != RESULT_OK || data == null) {

  Toast.makeText(this, "Cancelled", Toast.LENGTH_SHORT).show();

}
 else {

  mNoteGuid = EvernoteIntentResult.getNoteGuid(data);

}

 break;

 default:

 super.onActivityResult(requestCode, resultCode, data);

 break;

}

}

ChipsLayoutManager is a custom layout manager for RecyclerView which represents a Google chips material design guideline.

ChipsLayoutManager moves item to a next row when there isn't enough space left on the current. It's a next generation of TextView span implementation, flow layouts implementation with support of RecyclerView features, like ItemAnimations, recycling views etc.

A customized video view that will automatically pause video if user is not looking at device screen.

Material Deisgn RatingBar with Google app's style while fixinig a bunch of framework limitation/bugs. It extends framework RatingBar and can be used as a drop-in replacement.

Android File Chooser is a simple and customizable file/directory chooser dialog which you can use in your apps to let your users select a file or directory based on your needs.

This is a library that contains practical animations: Rotation, Flip, Horizontal and Vertical Shake, Pulse.

Designed simply and elegant these components are easy to integrate during development process.

This project makes a request to Play Store to check if there is a new version of your published app. Then, you can notify your users to do the update.
